What We Love About This Recipe

  1. This Crockpot cabbage recipe is incredible because of how flavorful it is. Super savory, with tender cabbage and onion, fresh garlic, and don’t forget the bacon!
  2. It’s super low-effort thanks to the slow cooker! Easy prep, easy cooking, and easy clean-up.
  3. It only takes a handful of ingredients, which means you can throw it together in basically no time. Great for busy weeknights or low-energy weekends!

Chef’s Tips

  • Make sure your bacon is fully cooked before adding in the Crockpot. The slow cooker won’t crisp up the raw bacon, but frying it up beforehand lets it develop that dreamy texture.
  • Leftover Crockpot cabbage can be refrigerated up to 5 days as long as you keep it in an airtight container. As time goes on, the flavors will get EVEN better!
