Ingredients

  • 1 pound pinto beans soaked overnight
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1/4 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  • Rinse and soak beans in cold water overnight. Water should be 2-3 inches above beans.
  • Drain, rinse, drain again, and add to the slow cooker.
  • Add spices and water, stir until well mixed.
  • Cook in slow cooker on high for 4 hours, or until tender.
