Instructions
Preheat air fryer to 400° Fahrenheit. While air fryer preheats, line plate with paper towels and set aside. For extra crispy bacon, place wire cooling rack over plate lined with paper towels.
When air fryer is preheated, spray basket with neutral cooking spray. Separate strips of turkey bacon and place in air fryer basket in single layer, making sure strips of bacon do not overlap. Work in batches as needed depending on size of air fryer.
Place basket in air fryer and cook bacon 4 minutes. After 4 minutes, carefully remove basket and flip strips of bacon over, again keeping strips from overlapping.
Return basket to air fryer and cook bacon 4 minutes more or until desired doneness is achieved.
When satisfied with doneness of bacon, transfer bacon to paper towels (or wire cooling rack). If cooking multiple batches of bacon, wipe out basket with paper towels and spray with cooking spray before adding more bacon. Repeat process with remaining bacon strips until all have been cooked. Serve as desired.
Recipe Notes
Cook Times: Exact cook times will vary from one air fryer to another. Check bacon frequently if needed to prevent under- or over-cooking.
Make it Whole30: Use a compliant turkey bacon with no sweeteners or incompatible additives.
Make it Paleo: Use a compliant turkey bacon. Note that some natural sweeteners are allowed on a paleo diet - turkey bacon using these sweeteners would be fine here.
