1 Large mason jar (with lid)
Wooden spoon
cheesecloth

20ouncescold filtered water
3bagsgreen tea
lemon slices(optional)
¼teaspoonliquid sweetener(optional)
fresh basil leaves(ripped by hand)

Fill mason jar with 20 ounces cold filtered water. Place 3 bags green tea in jar, or cut bags open and pour contents of bags directly into jar.
If desired, add lemon slices, ¼ teaspoon liquid sweetener, and fresh basil leaves to jar.
Stir ingredients to incorporate, then secure lid on mason jar. Place mason jar in refrigerator 24 hours, or leave mason jar at room temperature 12 hours.
Prior to serving, remove lid from mason jar and secure cheesecloth over mouth of jar. Carefully pour green tea through cheesecloth into separate jar or serving glasses, letting cheesecloth collect any solid ingredients.
Serve green tea over ice with preferred garnish. Enjoy!
