Instructions
Preheat oven to 350° Fahrenheit. Line large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
Place medium skillet on stovetop over medium heat. Add 2 tablespoons unsalted butter to skillet and let butter melt completely, swirling and tilting pan as needed to distribute butter across entire surface.
Once butter has melted, add 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup, 2 packed tablespoons dark brown sugar, and salt (to taste) to skillet. Whisk until ingredients are well incorporated. Continue cooking glaze mixture over medium heat, whisking constantly, until mixture is bubbly.
When glaze is bubbly, add 2 cups raw pecan halves to skillet. Cook pecans 3 minutes, stirring or tossing pecans constantly to coat in cinnamon glaze.
Once pecans are thoroughly coated in cinnamon glaze, transfer pecans to prepared baking sheet. Spread pecans out over parchment paper in one even layer, then place baking sheet in preheated oven.
Bake pecans 5 to 10 minutes or until fragrant and golden brown in color. Check pecans frequently to prevent burning.
When pecans are ready, carefully remove baking sheet from oven and set aside. Let pecans cool completely, then transfer pecans to serving bowl or storage container and serve as desired.
