This easy, hearty Gluten Free Chili recipe is packed with ground beef, kidney beans, tomatoes and spices! Perfect for meal-prep, this simple chili recipe is a real crowd-pleaser, just bring it to the table with a selection of your families favorite toppings!

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

  • This Gluten Free Chili recipe is rich, wholesome and hearty – the perfect cold-weather dinner for the whole family! As a good homemade chili is naturally gluten-free (it is pre-made chili options that are often thickened with flour) it’s the perfect dish to serve to gluten-free guests if you don’t want to buy any specialist gluten-free ingredients.
  • You can customize this chili however you wish. We like to add shredded cheese, sour cream (or thick yogurt in a pinch), chopped green onion, cilantro, and pieces of gluten-free cornbread for dipping and dunking.
  • This chili is also dairy-free, just use vegan yogurt or cheese for topping!

Chef’s Tips

  • If you don’t want to use ground beef, this chili recipe will also work well with ground turkey. Other types of canned beans will work too, we like black eyed peas in chili.
  • Add a little more heat to your chili by using hot smoked paprika instead of sweet smoked paprika.
  • Leftovers will keep well in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, and can be heated through in the microwave or on the stovetop.
