What Makes This Recipe So Good

  • Lobster is so succulent, it transforms a simple fried rice into such a special meal. Perfect to serve to your guests at a dinner party, or simply for a fun weeknight dinner the whole family will love.
  • It tastes just like fried rice you’d order at a fancy restaurant, but made in the comfort of your own home. Perfectly seasoned, it’s super easy to put together and ready to serve in less than 30 minutes!
  • This recipe is a one-pot meal, everything is cooked in a single skillet. Quick and easy cleanup!

Chef’s Tips

  • This fried rice recipe calls for pre-cooked lobster which you can find at your local grocery store. If you’d like to cook your own fresh lobster, go for it. You can cook lobster tails in the Instant Pot, broil lobster, or even make sous vide lobster.
  • Traditionally, fried rice is made with leftover rice which isn’t as moist as freshly cooked rice. It’s important to get the best texture, which is why I recommend cooking your rice ahead of time and let it cool down completely before incorporating it into the skillet with the cooked vegetables.
  • There’s no need to defrost the frozen veggies, since we’re using peas and carrots, they’ll thaw quickly in the hot skillet. If you wanted to add different vegetables such as zucchini or corn, it’ll totally work too!
