If you’re looking for a fun snack or an easy party food then you need these frozen mini corn dogs cooked in the air fryer. This simple cooking method gives you corn dog nuggets that are perfectly crispy outside and hot and tender inside. Served with a smoky homemade mustard sauce for added flavor, this is one recipe the whole family can enjoy.

What Makes This Recipe So Good

  • Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying mini corn dogs are necessarily “healthy” or nutritious. But they ARE pretty tasty, and if you’re going to eat them, it’s nice to have a lighter alternative to traditional deep fried corn dogs. That’s what you get with the air fryer – as-good-as-deep-fried results without actually soaking your food in hot oil. Life is all about compromise, and this method does that pretty well.
  • There’s no defrosting needed. You literally just take the frozen corn dog nuggets out of the freezer and pop them into the air fryer. 10 minutes later? Perfectly golden, crispy, hot mini corn dogs.

Chef’s Tips

  • This method works for any brand of mini corn dogs, so you could definitely air fry gluten-free or organic mini corn dogs for a slightly more nutritious option. Even plant-based mini corn dogs will work!
  • Cooking times will vary slightly from one air fryer to another, plus preference is also a big factor. Some people like their corn dogs more done, while others like them on the less-done side of things. Increase or reduce the cook time as needed to achieve your perfect mini corn dogs in the air fryer.

The Air Fryer Possibilities are Endless!

  • Air Fryer Dumplings (from Frozen)
  • 5-Ingredient Air Fryer Flautas
  • Frozen Pretzels in the Air Fryer
  • Air Fryer Potato Skins
  • Homemade Air Fryer Chocolate Chip Cookies
  • Air Fryer Hot Pockets (from Frozen and Homemade)
