Copycat Texas Roadhouse Baked Potatoes
Ingredients
- sea salt or kosher salt, enough to cover the potatoes
- 4 large baking potatoes with the skin on
- oil for coating
Toppings (Optional)
- Green onions sliced, or fresh chives
- Crumbled bacon pieces
- Shredded Cheddar we like Tillamook Cheddar
- Sour cream
- Black pepper
- Salt
Equipment
- Aluminum foil
Instructions
- Lay out four pieces of aluminum foil on a flat surface, ensuring there is enough to fully wrap each potato.
- Thoroughly wash and dry the potato skins. Dip the potatoes in oil (or brush them all over with a pastry brush) and place each potato onto a piece of foil. Cover with sea salt, rolling the potatoes around a little to make sure they're well coated. Wrap them up and bake in a 425°F oven for approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.
- Serve the potatoes plain, or make it a loaded potato by topping it with sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, green onions, crumbled bacon, and salt.
