Fast and easy air fryer popcorn chicken is perfect for a simple snack or a quick lunch, with juicy bites of breaded chicken cooked straight from frozen in less than 15 minutes! Pair them with your favorite dipping sauce or toss them on top of a salad, you can’t go wrong either way!

What We Love About This Recipe
- It’s super quick and super, super easy. Just throw frozen popcorn chicken (yup, right out of the freezer!) into the preheated air fryer basket, air fry it for 4 minutes, give the basket a shake to toss the chicken, then air fry it another 4 minutes.
- They crisp up beautifully without using any heavy oil. I do give them a little spritz of spray oil to make them extra crispy, but you could skip that if you wanted to.
Chef’s Tips
- It’s important that you shake the basket halfway through the cook time, and check on the popcorn chicken regularly after the 8-minute mark. You don’t want to overcook it!
- Tyson popcorn chicken is a great choice, but you can use this air fryer method with any brand of popcorn chicken you like!
