These roasted cauliflower steaks are simply seasoned but absolutely delicious. Tender and packed full of flavor, they are the perfect vegan main course or an easy side dish.
What We Love About This Recipe
- This method is almost too simple, but it leads to delicious results! If you’re typically “not a cauliflower fan”, I beg you, give this roasted cauliflower steak recipe a try. It may very well change your mind!
- The 5-spice blend of sea salt, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and chili powder adds SO MUCH incredible flavor! You’re welcome to mix up the spices however you’d like, too. We love a versatile dish!
Chef’s Tips
- We really love the smoky, spicy flavor of smoked paprika, but you can use regular paprika if you’d like.
- You can either save your extra pieces of cauliflower for a later recipe, make additional steaks if they are big enough, or roast them with your steaks and save them for a snack.
- We love these steaks with a side of ranch or even chimichurri.

Chopped cauliflower into large florets, omitted the chili powder and increased all of the other spices and seasonings, adding cayenne for some heat, as well. Irresistible! Will make again and again!

I made this recipe and it was a big hit at our block party. Instead of cutting the cauliflower into large steaks, I broke the head into florets and then sliced them. They were cauliflower steak medallions.
